Many of us have them. Some of us can’t live without them. GPS stands for Global Positioning Service. It finds us where we are and tells us where we need to go and how.

But when it comes to our spiritual journey do we find ourselves lost, confused and out of touch? Especially when things aren’t going our way.
The evil one gets us off track misleads us into thinking some things are right when they are wrong. He likes to give us wrong turns to steer us in his direction. He enjoys seeing us lost in sin and laughs at us at how easily he can fool us because he knows the misery of our poor choices will lead us into a hell of a life. The devil likes to drive us crazy with his “Hell on Wheels Service”!

Is there another way? Always!
It’s called God’s Positioning Service.
It has been around a lot longer and proves that if people like Adam and Eve or Moses or Saul or you or I listened to His true direction from the start we would not have gotten so lost in sin.

When we find ourselves in this mess we call upon God’s GPS because it will show us the right way -at any time any place. It is all in how we direct ourselves in using it.
How does it work?
By simply using HIS TOOLS!
1st we use the letter G = For Gospel in reading the Good News. This lets us know who and who’s we are and where we should and should not be going.
2nd we use the letter P = For Prayer. This will give us hope & encouragement if we listen for God’s voice calling us to follow Him in giving us His loving directions.
3rd we use the letter S = For Sacraments. These will strengthen, nourish & nurture us along the way.
These 3 tools will then triangulate into a Trinity of Love which will find us and guide us.
Like the prodigal Father waiting for His kids to find home.
It just doesn’t get any better than this.
So, in any season check out your GPS. It is God sent and remember to check it often. Because if someone were to ever ask you this question:
“Has the journey of your life been worth it so far? You will know what to say, YES! I’ve had God’s GPS on.
Is yours truly on?
